Ghana Scholarship Secretariat Tertiary Scholarship was introduced by H. E. President Akufo-Addo in 2017 and had it decentralized and digitized in the in subsequent years.
The Ghana Scholarship Secretariat scholarship covers academic facility user fees or tuition fees for all accredited local tertiary institutions, both public and private.

List for 2022/2023
My name is Drusilla Abbey, an immediate past student of Takoradi Technical University. I renewed my scholarship in 2021 and in February 2022 the Ghana Scholarship Secretrait paid an amount of 1885.00gh as a scholarship for the 2021/2022 academic year… because I needed to register my courses on time I borrowed an amount of 1975.00gh from a friend to pay for my school fees. So therefore I need to refund an amount of 1885.00gh from my schools account to continue with my education…. but my school Takoradi Technical University claims the government didn’t release the funds though it reflected in my account.
Please help me
