GES Releases Promotion Results : How To Check Results And Results Statistics

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released the promotion results of staff who took part in the February Promotion aptitude test. Here is how to check the GES promotion results and aptitude test results as well as the results statistics.

GES Promotion Results Statistics

Out of 30,280 candidates who were shortlisted for the test,18,475 were promoted, representing 61.0 per cent.
For Deputy Director rank, 2,336 candidates took the test ,out of which 1,140 representing 48.8% were successful.
For Assistant Director 1 rank, 7,170 candidates took the test with 4,709 being successful representing 65.7%.
For Assistant Director 2 rank, 18,238 candidates took the test , out of which 10,869 representing 59.5% passed.
For the Principal Superintendent grade, 1,766 candidates representing 69.6% of a total candidates of 2,536 were successful.

How To Check GES Promotion Aptitude Test Results

Teachers that applied for promotion and participated in GES promotion aptitude test can check the list of successful candidates on the GES promotion portal online.

Step 1; Buy E voucher Online For GES Promotion

Visit the official GES promotion portal .
Click on the ”Click to buy eVoucher card” button. There will be three options for you to choose the type of voucher to buy, Choose the “e voucher for promotions” option.
Afterwards you will be required to choose a mobile money network, then enter your mobile money number and provide a valid email address to make the payment. The e voucher for GES promotion is 5 cedis.
You will receive a prompt on your phone asking you to enter your mobile money pin to confirm payment.
Afterwards a confirmation email containing the evoucher code and transaction ID would be sent to your email as well as sms.
You have successfully bought the GES promotions e voucher .

How To Buy E voucher Offline To Check GES Promotion Results

You can as well buy the evoucher on your mobile phone offline to check the GES promotion.

This option is not confirmed for this promotion (It was valid for the previous promotion ) so use the online option above instead.

On you phone dial the short code *170# on MTN
Then select option 2 in the menu to ‘pay bill’
Afterwards select the option 6 – ‘general payment’
Then you will be prompted to ‘enter payment code’. Enter “promotion” as the payment code
Then you will be prompted to ‘pay any amount’. Where you will be required to enter the amount to pay. which is 10 cedis.
Afterwards you will then be required to enter the reference. Where you enter a preferred reference, this can be your name.
Afterwards confirm payment by inputting your mobile money password.
If the payment process is successful, you will receive a confirmation SMS with the transaction ID.

Step 2; Check GES Promotion Aptitude Test Results

Visit the GES promotion portal through gespromotions.gov.gh/promotions
Next, the GES promotions login page shows up where you will have to enter your staff ID and e Voucher code you purchased in step 1 that has been sent to your phone by sms.
Afterwards the online GES promotion results page will show up with two options namely “Teaching Staff “and “Non Teaching Staff”
Click on the “Teaching Staff ” option
Afterwards enter your “interview Year”, “Staff ID” and “E Voucher Card Number” acquired in step 1
The teaching staff GES Promotion Aptitude Test Results List will be available if you passed your GES aptitude test.

You can as well consult the Human Resource Department of GES to check your GES Promotion Aptitude Test Results List For Teaching Staff.

The list of the candidates for the various positions are pasted on notice boards at the districts, municipal and metropolitan education offices with the date for the aptitude test.
