The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially released the Ghana Learning TV (GLTV) timetable for all Basic Schools in Ghana thus for Junior High School (JHS), Primary, Kindergarten (KG). The GLTV for all Junior High School (JHS), Primary, Kindergarten (KG) has begun airing on Wednesday 6th May 2020 and is accessible on StarTimes channel 312, GoTV channel 150 , DSTV channel 315 as well as all digital tv channels nationwide. This was made known in an official facebook post of the Ghana Education Service (GES). Virtual Lessons for Junior High School (JHS), Primary, Kindergarten will be aired on this channel 24 hours each day.

- After scanning, the channel by name GLTV will appear below GTV
- You can as well manually search for new channels to find it
- Press MENU on the remote control of the TV
- Then Select SETUP on the menu and press OK,
- Afterwards Select Auto Search and press OK.
- Then wait for the television to rescan all available channels
- After the scan the channel by name GLTV will appear below GTV

I suggest the Government teachers should be re enforce to gather children around their areas for studies. Which will also give them more strength as facilitators till all school resumes

Instead of Morning (AM) and Evening (PM)it should be 1st Session and 2nd Session, because 12:05 is not am.

i watched the GLTV the whole day on thursday and there was no KG/primary lesson. today too Im yet to see any lesson for Primary. are they having diiferent GLTV channels or what. how many timetables are they using. this timetable is not been followed on the GLTV i see on my television.

It is very good initiative but those of us in hinterland are suffering to have access to network therfore making it difficult to enjoy the programme .

i have the GLTV channel but no primary lessons from morning to evening. are they showing the primary own on a different channel?. or they havent started using the timetable. im confused.

So those in the rural areas how are they going to benefit from this learning program or they are not part of the pupils schooling in the country? GES should consider them too, and they add the channel on MULTI TV so those who do not have access to DSTV to also partake in the program.

I strongly believe that education is not meant for only those in the urban areas but the rural folk as well. Come to our rural areas and find out from them how many of them have access to DSTV, GOTV and even smart phones. We have various channels on multi TV I think it will be very prudent to use those channels so that most Ghanaians will benefit from it. Thanks
