Management of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) informs its cherished customers of metering technical challenges, that has resulted in a brief interruption of online purchase of electricity prepaid credit for users on the Kamstrup (Nuri). The statement reads as follows:

VENDING CHALLENGE WITH NURI METERING SYSTEM
The Electricity Company of Ghana Limited wishes to inform our cherished customers on the Kamstrup (Nuri) metering system that due to a technical challenge, online purchase of electricity credit has been interrupted.
Some customers in the following districts have been affected;
Legon, Roman Ridge, Prampram, Dodowa, Achimota, and Kaneshie.
Affected customers should please note that our ICT engineers are working assiduously to correct the anomaly, and restore the system to normalcy by close of day today, 20th July 2020.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this technical challenge.
