GES Staff ID 4th Batch Update

The Deputy Director General of the Ghana Education Service, Dr Anthony Boateng has stated that the next batch of Staff ID’s to be released will capture all newly recruited teachers who have not yet received their IDs.

He made this known to the National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT) president, Mr Angel Carbonou.

This comes after the Leadership of the Coalition of Newly Recruited Teachers visited the NAGRAT president concerning the delay in the release of staff IDs to newly recruited teachers. Mr Angel Carbonou in turn made a phone call to the Deputy Director General of GES to ask for the cause of the delay.

Reasons For Delay In Release Of Staff IDs

  • As revealed to the leadership of the Coalition, the reason for the delay in the release of all staff IDs is as a result of individual differences in the date of the assumption of duty of newly recruited teachers awaiting their Staff ID.

About GES Staff ID 4th Batch Update

  • Some newly recruited teachers who have still not received their Staff ID’s after being at post for over 6 months of appointment.
  • Three batches of Staff IDs have been released however some newly recruited teachers have still not received theirs.
  • Staff ID’s are required for newly recruited teachers to undertake their biometric registration so they can start receiving their salaries.
