About Ghana Prisons Service Recruitment Deadline

The Ghana Prisons Service Recruitment Portal is opened after the Government of Ghana through the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, granted the Ghana Prisons Service , financial clearance to recruit 2000 staff into the Security sector.

This is as made known in letters, addressed to the Minister of Interior confirming the clearance to employ Prisons staff , the Finance Minister indicated that the effective date for the people to be recruited is 1st of August onwards. CHECK THE OFFICIAL RELEASE HERE

Ghana Prisons Service Recruitment Requirements

1. You must Be a Ghanaian citizen by birth as well
2. You must Be of a minimum height of 1.73 metres (5ft 8 Inches) for males and 1.63 metres (5ft 4 Inches) for females.
3. You must have no criminal record and of good character.
4. You must be physically and medically fit by Ghana Prisons Service standards.
5. You must have Four Passes in SSCE or WASSCE or NVTI, a pass in English Language or Mathematics may be an added advantage but not a requirement or Four credits in the GES Intermediate Level Certificate, including English or Mathematics or ‘A’ Level / ‘O’ Level with credit in English.
6. You will have to fill the forms with your official name, date of birth, height, active email address, and mobile phone number around to use for the application
7. As well as upload your passport size photograph of 192 X 192 pixels dimension of JPEG/JPG format with size not exceeding 2.0 MB ready to be uploaded.
