How To Change School Placement
- The free SHS transfer policy on transfer is that students requiring transfer will have to first take a release letter from the current school you were placed
- Then contact the administration of the school you are interested in for an assurance letter to prove that you will be admitted
- Afterwards submit both the release letter and assurance letter to the Free Senior High School Secretariat for processing
- The Free Senior High School Secretariat will make sure that you have been cleared by your current school.
- Then your data is migrated from the old school to the new school by the FSHS Secretariat and alert the heads of both schools of the transfer.
- The Free Senior High School Secretariat will then give you a letter to present to the Head of the new school for admission
Can I Change School After BECE School Placement
The second option aside transfer is to do self placement But you must satisfy the following conditions
- You must be a candidates who has not been Automatically Placed in any of your selected schools
- If you meet the above conditions then proceed to the self placement portal to select schools with available vacancies.

BECE School Placement Cut Off Points
- The cut-off point for CSSPS School Placement is when students get aggregate 9 in the following core subjects: English, Maths and Science. In such instance such a student will not be considered for placement.
- In such instance students are to register for the Private BECE to re-write the BECE exams in the failed areas for placement in any of the Senior High Schools.
