Reasons For The Delay In Payment Of Stipends
The reason for the delay in the payment of arrears for the validated months has to do with the non-availability of funds.
This is as confirmed in the recent update by the management of NABCO concerning the controversies surrounding the non payment of NABCO arrears.
The circular stated that although the secretariat has worked on all validated data and submitted them for payment. But payment has not been made yet due to the funds not being released for payment.
This is as explained with the statement below:
“ On payments, we await funds to settle the months validated including arrears owed for Heal Ghana trainees, New Cards, as well as those owed from specific validation errors. Kindly avoid breaking ranks, by obsessively seeking updates on trainee payments. It is unprofessional and insinuates vested interest aside from your recognized role as a staff of the organization.”

How To Check Nabco Portal Payment Status
- First visit the Nabco Portal Payment Status: http://apply.nabco.gov.gh/
- Then enter your NABCO Reference Number and password to login
- On the the NABCO portal payment section or the NABCO payment history section scroll down to the page and you will see the list of payments by months to check your payment status
- Each month’s payment status is displayed with one of the following remarks remarks:
- PAID
- Payment Processing
- Timesheet Not Submitted
- Under Investigation
- Invalid Timesheet
- Permanently employed
- Duplicate Department Number
- Not in the Master List
- E-zwich Blocked
- Not Reported by MIPs
- Navigate to the month you want to check and check and check the remarks to know your payment status.
- If you are eligible for payment for the month, you will see PAID as your remark if not not you will see any of the above remarks which means you are not eligible for payment yet.
