The Government of Ghana through the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, has granted the Ghana Education Service (GES ), financial clearance to recruit 600 staff into the Education sector.
This is as made known in letters, addressed to the Education Minister confirming the clearance to employ staff members, the Finance Minister indicated that the effective date for the people to be recruited will be 1st of August. CHECK THE OFFICIAL RELEASE HERE

The letter addressed to the Education Minister, states that the Ministry “has been granted financial clearance to enable the Ghana Education Service (GES ) to recruit 600 personnel, augment the staffing position of the Services”.
The Comptroller-General of the Ghana Education Service (GES ) is to ensure that recruited personnel have their documents processed in time and placed on the Mechanized Payroll early enough to enable the Controller and Accountant-General’s Department effect payment of their salaries.
The effective date of the appointed GNFS personnel should not be earlier than 1st August,.

Why all the time college of Education forgotten about graduate from UCC and UEW are they not qualified for posting as well? Or you wants them to sit home and get rotten with their brains through their institution or sit and finally end up frustrated without gaining any access please we are now appealing to the media the Director general and his subordinates to look critical at our concern and address the situation or they think we are not competent enough or eligible to stand before students or public in terms of teaching,our certificates are getting rotten please they should consider the education related courses offered by students and address our concern thank you.
