About GETFund Scholarship
Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) is government initiative that sponsors the education of Ghanaian students to study both locally and abroad for either Undergraduate, master’s or PhD degree.
The GETFund was established by a law of Parliament, to support the Ghana Scholarship Secretariat with extra funding to help students.
GETFund Scholarship Application Portal
- First visit the GETfund Scholarship Application Portal to signup At : GETfund Scholarship Application Portal
- After signup login at : GETfund Scholarship Application Login
- Then enter the username and password you used to signup in order to login
- Afterwards fill the GETfund Scholarship Application Form Online
- Finally Submit your application
GETFund Scholarship Application Portal Requirements
- You are required to upload the following documents online to be considered for the Getfund Scholarship:
- You are required to upload a scanned copy of signed Application letter
- You are required to upload a scanned copy of proof of Nationality (Copy of Passport / National I.D Card)
- You are required to upload a scanned copy of admission letter clearly stating the program duration in it
- You are required to upload a scanned copy of approved Fee Schedule (2021/2022 Academic Year)
- You are required to upload a scanned copy of the 1st-degree certificate (Masters and Ph.D. applicants)
- You are required to upload a scanned copy of other degree certificates (PhD applicants only)
- You are required to upload a scanned copy of the previous transcript (Masters and Ph.D. applicants only)
- You are required to upload a scanned copy of National Service Certificate where applicable (Masters and Ph.D. applicants only) Copy of Curriculum Vitae (Masters and Ph.D. applicants only).
- You are required to upload a scan copy of signed application letters addressed to, The Administrator, GETFund P. O. Box MB, 254, Accra.

- The effective closing date for applications is 5:00pm 31st December

Please, based on your information that the GETFUND portal is opened till 31st December,2023, I decided to apply but the portal remains closed to new applicants.
when will the portal close this year? and also if you don’t have Ghana card can you use your bith certificate to apply it ?
