GES Graduate Recruitment Financial Clearance
The Minister of Education has on Monday requested for financial clearance from the Ministry of Finance (MoF) for the GES Graduate Recruitment for this year.
The Education Minister made it known that as soon as they receive the financial clearance GES will open the GES Recruitment Portal.

The Ministry of Finance gives financial clearance to GES for the recruitment of graduates to be employed into Ghana Education Service to teach at the Senior High Schools (SHS) or Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Ghana.

GES Financial Clearance For University Graduates Recruitment
This was made known with the following statement:
“We sent a request to the Ministry of Finance for financial clearance to recruit the university graduates, as they did the basic school clearance for us now we have requested for graduate clearance”
He further stated that in December last year he assured that his outfit will request clearance to recruit graduate teachers who completed universities to teach at the senior high schools. This was also made known with the following statement:
“We last year petitioned the Ministry of Finance to increase the clearance for graduate teachers to be recruited in but it was agreed for only 16,850 newly trained teachers to be recruited the previous year and the graduates later this year,”
GES Recruitment Requirements
Only graduate teachers who have completed national service and passed the teacher licensure examination will be considered for the recruitment.
GES Recruitment Date
The ministry of education is hoping mid or late February this year to begin the GES Graduate recruitment. The Education Minister has subsequently advised graduates seeking to be employed to pay attention to job announcements on the GES Recruitment Portal. This was made known with the statement:
“The Ministry of Education and Ghana Education Service usually announce the recruitment teachers on the various social media handles, I will urge those seeking to be recruited this year to pay attention to such adverts”

E-deployment For Graduate Recruitment
According to the Ministry of Education, as part of efforts to improve the process of posting trained teachers, the ministry is considering E-deployment as used for the teacher trainees recruitment.
The E-deployment will give new teachers the opportunity to select rural areas to be posted to during the application process, this comes with incentives
