Job Qualification And Experience

HND Mechanical Engineering or Auto Engineering with minimum 2 years in supervisory position in a transport department, or On the Job Training with a minimum of 5 years working experience in supervisory position in a Transport department.
Good knowledge of traffic rules and regulations
Strong mechanical background, a plus.
Excellent inventory management skills
Ability to diagnose vehicular problems
Ability to work under pressure
Knowledge of road safety procedures
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Knowledge in vehicle scheduling and route planning is a plus.
Conversant with Microsoft Office suite.

Job Responsibilities

Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes.
Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment including oscilloscopes, ammeters, and test lamps.
Layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, base on job specifications and local codes.
Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
Place conduit (pipes or tubing) inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes
Construct and fabricate parts, using hand tools and specifications
Fasten small metal or plastic boxes to walls to house electrical switches or outlets.
Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit and moving and lifting heavy objects.
Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services.
Provide assistance during emergencies by operating floodlights and generators, placing flares, and driving needed vehicles.
Commit to compliance with all safety standard and regulations at all time
Perform preventative maintenance to stay ahead of potential issues

Job Qualification and Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required, degree in electrical engineering preferred

Experience installing electrical panels
Experience in commercial and residential settings strongly preferred

We are looking for someone to conduct a safe troubleshooting, replacement, repair, testing and general maintenance of electrical and instrumentation production equipment and systems, according to electrical codes and specifications, to optimize plant processing and production.

Job Responsibilities

Execute on electrical maintenance tasks for completion, arising out of schedules received from the E&I Supervisor.
Conduct daily work planning around STP’s, JHA / FLRA and SAFE checks.
Identify, resolve and correct detected E&I faults and defects in equipment.
Troubleshoot technical and / or operational problems.
Conduct in-depth investigations into faults affecting equipment operations and process flows.
Diagnose and repair electrical power and control systems, AC V/S drives and associated electrical equipment.
Perform routine maintenance on all electrical equipment, in line with approved maintenance standards.
Analyse specified problems and issues to find the best technical solutions within OEM specifications and in accordance with local codes.
Provide a hands-on solution for electrical faults and defects to equipment and machinery.
Produce daily reports indicating the jobs completed for the day and submit the report to the E&I Supervisor.
Accomplish work objectives by determining own daily work and prioritization schedule.
Coordinate with support services and assign short-term tasks to other Technicians, as necessary.

Job Qualifications

Electrical Engineering Technician II Certificate.
Other relevant Electrical Engineering Trade Test Certificate.
Minimum of 2 – 3 years’ electrical maintenance experience in a mining plant / process environment.
Wide ranging experience across various voltage electrical works – extra-low, low and high.
Strong knowledge of applicable electrical codes.
Strong knowledge of process instrumentation.
